PARQUET COURTS - APPLICATION APPARATUS
Shuffling excited and busy young people around town while the voice of his navigation system guides him, an Uber driver battling feelings of alienation feels himself becoming one with the machine. The application (the phone) and the apparatus (the car) become merged with him. He’s at the mercy of both the instructions given by his phone and the larger systems of war, migration, and capital that forced him into the car in the first place.

SQUID - SWING (IN A DREAM)
NOMINATED ‘BEST ROCK VIDEO’ AT THE UK MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS 2023
We produced Yoonha Park's promo for Squid's "Swing (In a Dream)". “The video transforms an indoor sports court into a microcosm of human life. The video begins with two men playing basketball and escalates into a whirlwind of diverse activities, blending the mundane and the bizarre. This controlled chaos, achieved through intricate choreography captures the mesmerizing, frantic energy of everyday life. A magical reflection on the messy, fun, and disorienting human experience, masterfully merging reality with the dreamlike. -PROMONEWS

PALACE - MARTYR
“Claes Nordwall creates an atmospheric performance video for London band Palace, returning to action with the song Martyr. With the addition of painterly set-ups evoking the works of old Masters, Nordwall gives the video an appealing art school sensibility. And it was shot, appropriately enough, in the old Central Saint Martins campus basement in Holborn, London.” - PROMONEWS

PARQUET COURTS - BERLIN GOT BLURRY
“Parquet Courts have shared a video for "Berlin Got Blurry," the latest from their forthcoming Human Performance LP. Produced and directed by Claes Nordwall, the clip sees the band's frontman Andrew Savage take a trip to Berlin, where he explores the local sites and becomes frustrated by faulty pay phones, tumble dryers, and spilled street food.” - PITCHFORK

STEVE GUNN - ANCIENT JULES
“Next month, the meditative guitar master Steve Gunn will release his new album Eyes On The Line, and we’ve heard the warm, expansive early track “Ancient Jules”. Director Claes Nordwall has just made a video, and it’s a good one. In the clip, we see Gunn piloting an old BMW motorcycle down an English back-country road. When it breaks down, he meets a kindly stranger who turns out to be a kindred spirit and fellow guitar wizard: The English prog-folk legend Michael Chapman. We never hear any dialog, but it’s fun to watch these two chop it up.” - STEREOGUM
